tired of blogging?

It seems that I don't blog that much anymore... am I tired of it? maybe I
need a break. I'll take off for the time I have left in school (yes, I have
summer school) and we'll see how it goes.
I've noticed the same decline in interest in my photography too. It could
have been the hard time I had during the last few weeks of classes in the
Spring, or the hectic graduation times, or the frustration when shopping for
clothes... trying to get the same sizes as last year.
Oh lordy.
So I guess this is my way of saying I won't be blogging for a minute. I'll
try to keep up with my photoblog but who knows... see you around!

I GRADUATED!!!!!

Even though I still have 2 summer classes until it is official, I have to say I really feel like a college grad already. In the photo I'm in line to go across the stage. Exciting times with my friend Charisma, who will be with me in both classes during the summer.

The day was just amazing. My mom really made it special for me. And that applies to the entire 4 years, really. I love you mami and I couldn't have made it without you. Here she is, so wonderfully beautiful. She's been my blessing and my role model. She's been my strength all along.
She's been the greatest gift of all. And I am so proud she's by my side. And there are no words to really explain how much I love her. Mami, thank you SO much.

D-O-N-E

last time i slept normally was sunday night. since monday morning i've only had 6 hours of sleep and right now i'm about to pass out on my bed because i'm so tired. but i'm done with everything this semester. thank GOD. graduation saturday. and then until summer session 1 for the final 2 classes. i'll find some motivation between now and then to survive those 2 courses. right now.... zzzzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZ

sunshine, rain and slim's chicken!

I am happy. I am almost done for this semester and graduation is on Saturday! How could I NOT be happy? I still have two projects to finish. Right now I'm working on my flash portfolio for my web2 class and when I finish it, I'll get to work on my research paper for ancient art. My creative writing portfolio went really well. I have to creatively write more often cause I think I'm good at it :)

We had a storm today in this college town, and when I was walking to the builing it smelled like sweet rain. It made it even more special that I was listening to Corinne Bailey Rae while walking... :)

I like the new background for this blog. I have to fix it a little, but that's only like a minute in photoshop. I'll do it during a break today. I have to fix the links to my friends' blogs because at least one of them is broken. I guess Pau gave it up.

MAY 12th 2007!!!

I've been busy for the last 4 years working on my bachelor's degree. On May 12th, I will receive the honors during the Commencement ceremony at Bud Walton Arena. Needless to say, I'm pretty excited. Actually, more than that. This means the world to me. I never dreamed of achieving this goal they way it all has happened. I never imagined I would be somewhere other than my home. Fortunately, in many ways, things don't go as I plan them.

I am thankful. Very thankful to God, my family, and to so many others. I'm not graduating alone....
